ABOUT
Hello art enthusiasts, my name is Juning Zhang. Currently, I am majoring in Fashion Design and minor in Fashion Marketing at Savannah College of Art and Design (Savannah campus). At the age of 10, I came to the United States and started my elementary life at Ojai Valley School. During my high school life, I was awarded for AP Art (2017-2018), History (2017), and AP Psychology (2018). I engaged in a garage band (piano & singer), tenth-grade student representatives, chorus and participated in “Little Shop of Horrors" (the nurse) and “Beauty and the Beasts” (Silly Girls) What I found most excited was making 3-D objects where I often found myself losing track of time. It was the first time I had any interest in Art, perhaps, Fashion Design. One time my friend came to me crying and said her size was too large for a prom dress and she wanted me to help her. After one week and over 15 hours of hard work, I presented my artwork to my friend. When she told me, she could barely express her emotions, the joy in her eyes brought a satisfying sense of gratitude to me. Not only did I want to make a beautiful dress, but I also want everyone to understand that inner beauty is more important than the appearance.
